PREACHY WRITERS OF THE NEWS PAPER JUNKYARD

On October 3rd “The Times of India” Delhi edition (p.11) published a guest article titled “Net Result: Failed writers and half-wits populate Blogosphere” (There is not such words in English language as “blogosphere”) by One Junk writer “Shoban Saxena”.

It is a matter of shame that a good news Paper (I thought it was!) like Time of India waste its space for such junk writers who discourage people with contradictory statements. This junk writer does not like preachy articles in Blogs-space. The article by the junk writer is preachy to the young and attempting writers in blogs! Or is the writer afraid that there will be less readers to such writings?

In any case, blogs are blessing to many good people to express their opinion on various subjects, without many restrictions. I do not mean to say violence and other harmful writings to humans and the nature should be encouraged. That may be done by few! Blogs are blessing to people who have no medium to express their views on many topics.

The new papers choosy, like our junk writer! They can write any preachy non-sense, the news papers publish, because for some reason they are part of the News-paper industry. All cannot be part of the News paper industry to express their views.

So Dear Bloger, do not be discouraged by such insecure, junk writers of the News Paper industry. Express your views on any subject in the world fearlessly, that we can build a wholesome society, where every one can live with wholesome freedom, justice, equality and power. Do not controlled by the junk preachy writers like “Shobhan Saxena” who has no shame to call a Bloger “failed writer, half-wits etc. It is really shameful saxenaji that you do not allow people to grow and develop. It this success only reserved for few people like you has all the facilities in the world. Hope you will read this Blog.

Funny... because you just used it. Must be like those pictures of Big Foot, huh?

(For the record, I prefer "blogsphere." That extra "o" is unnecessary and pretentious... much like the rest of my comment is about to be.)

“failed writer, half-wits etc.

That's about right.

I also don't have much good to say about the average blogger. Most of the really good blogs (and highest trafficked ones, I might add) come from people with some connection to journalism.

There's an old saying that "just because you have an audience doesn't mean you have something to say." Well, the corollary to that is that most people don't have an audience because they have nothing to say.

In other words, if they were any good or had anything worthwhile to contribute, they wouldn't need a blog to do it from.
