" The Reservation Struggle and the Green earth"

Today on the one side the Parliament is going to bring a Bill for Reservation for OBCs in Higher Education Institutions on the Other hand Students of wealthy Class and Caste are fighting on the streets so that the Poorer classes and Castes do not get these facilites.

For thousands of years these so called "higher Classes and Castes" in our country, the Monther India, Vande Mataram, 70-80 % of people suffered from discriminiation and all types of ill treatment from the "higher casts and Classes". Now after many many lost years, some Leaders of this section of people(their motives may be questioned, but the outcome will be good) have realised the injustice these "higher casts and classes" have done to majority of the people in India.

The reservation may be a small symbol of putting things in the right place. It will not solve greater issues to be settled. But the childer of these higher castes and classes do not not want share a bit with these poor masses of people.

Whose tax money are they spending in these institutes of Higher Education. The tax collected from common poeple and farmers. If these students are honest, Count the numbers of rich, higher caste children in these instutes.

Go to our villages, look at the site of primary and secondory education system. Who are the teachers and head-masters in these schools? Member of the High-caste. Because they had money and facility to send their childern out, they became teachers and came back to the village. But do they give qulaity education to the moajority (SCs/ OBCs/ and STs) in the villages. No. They do not. As a result these children are not able to compete the children of the "higher castes and calsses" whose children are sent to the cities to study.

Those sit in the air-conditioned rooms and produce programs see only "merit" of these students. But what about the students from the majority group in the villages, slums in our country?

Is the Green earth only for few people to enjoy or it for all? The other day there was a Hangama about singing "Vande Mataram" in schools? Will they also make sure that Mohter India is for all its childfen to live in dignity and wholesome develoment.

Are all these well protected and well fed-students in the streets want to keep India a caste-ritten soeity, only for the Tope layer of 10% of our population? Be honest and see the struggle of 80% of the students in the nation and not just in few towns.

If we do not care of the dignity of the last one in the society, we are moving towads great catastophy. So need to know more about the vast majority of people and specially your co-students and their struggele in India, before you move into streets to protest, spending the common man's money.

These protests are, actually, like the High caste man beating up a low-caste man for drinking water from the common well in the village. There are villages even now in India, where the OBCs / and SCs will not be allow to draw water from a common well, but used by the Higher caste-man, who may constist only one or two families in the village.

"Vande-matharam" Our green India, our green earth is for all to develop and grow
